Short-Term Home Health Care Insurance

Designed to allow you to recover in your own home, help pay for prescription drugs, provide support for family caregivers and more!

What is short-term home health care insurance?

GTL’s Short-Term Home Health Care Insurance helps with home health care costs, including deductibles and co-payments from medical services. With riders like the Short-Term Home Health Care Aide Benefit, Prescription Drug Benefit, and more customizable care options, GTL provides more affordable and comprehensive coverage with direct benefits.

How does short-term home health care insurance work?

GTL’s Short-Term Home Health Care Insurance works by providing a daily benefit for various home health care services. The benefit duration depends on your chosen plan, and to qualify, a Licensed Health Care Practitioner certifies a Cognitive Impairment or difficulty performing two of six Activities of Daily Living without substantial assistance. As an added benefit, policyholders have access to TCARE’s Family Caregiver Concierge Services designed to help support your loved ones and prevent caregiver burnout.

Why do I need short-term home health care insurance?

Like most Americans, you would prefer to recuperate from the comfort of your own home. Benefits are paid directly to you, and can help cover deductibles and co-payments, regardless of existing insurance. Short-Term Home Health Care is flexible, with no prior hospitalization stay needed to collect benefits. You can also combine Short-Term Home Health Care Benefits with hospital stay and accident coverage to enhance your overall protection from GTL.
