What is it?

Advantage Plus Elite Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance is designed to help fill some of the co-payments, deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses of your health insurance plan. Cash benefits are paid directly to you to help cover the costs associated with hospital confinement, ambulance trips, critical accidents, skilled nursing stays and more.

How does it work?

Should you be confined to a hospital, Advantage Plus Elite will pay you between $100 and $750 per day based on the plan you select. You can choose a 3-10 day or 15-day benefit period, which will restore after 60 days of no hospital confinement. A 1-day benefit is also available with a daily benefit amount of up to $2,500.

After being confined in the hospital for days, some people are surprised to discover their stay was categorized as “hospital observation.” GTL’s Advantage Plus Elite covers hospital observation.

GTL’s Advantage Plus Elite plan is guaranteed issue for ages 64 1/2 to 68 and a simple yes/no application for other ages.

Coverage is guaranteed renewable for life as long as your premiums are paid on time.
